The Heishi Clan, an expansionist clan, had created false evidence, which printed the Minamoto Clan, my clan, as traitors to the emperor. They used this as a reason to attack my clan and claim our land as their own. Our old allies left us to die. The army of the Heishi Clan was five times as large as ours. Their army attacked us in the winter and their blades turned the snow in the small town we ruled over, crimson. As I saw my lands burning, I took the bleeding body of my father and I ran. Instead of fighting the Heishi Clan I ran. I carried him through the snow, leaving behind a trail of blood. Only when I was certain, nobody followed me anymore, I slowed down to look at the face of my father. He was dead, as well as the rest of my clan.
